Milk's lactic acid and Retinol serum

Ladies!! I applied milk on my face. Milk contains lactic acid so can I use Retinol serum the same day?

I think yes, bc milk is very weakly acidic anyway. It’s almost neutral. Also, retinol is mild. It doesn’t cause me any irritation personally.

Retinol serum is best used overnight for maximum benefits, btw putting milk on your face is ineffective as a lactic acid, you would need to buy a product with appropriate %
