I Am Quiet, Shy And Socially Awkward

I am very quiet, shy and socially awkward. This definitely messes me up when meeting people because I take so long to get comfortable around people and many times they just don't give me the time so it gets all messed up before it gets started. Ugh!!

It gets all messed up at times so much that it never ends up going any further. Some people can work with it and give it time and things eventually sort themselves out as I warm up to people, but sometimes I just don't get that chance.

It's not about resisting anything. It's about being quiet, shy and socially awkward as the experience says. I try to overcome it but it's not as easy as extroverted people seem to think it is.
