I Absolutely Love Bookstores

My most favorite bookstore is Powell's in Portland, Oregon. I'm lucky enough to live about 45 minutes away from it. It takes up an entire city block. Any hard to find book they most likely have it and more than one copy. Supposedly they buy over 3,000 used books a day. The only sad part is their prices went up so I can't buy nearly as much as I used to.

Ooh so lucky. I'm on the east coast but have heard many great things about Powell's. I was lucky enough to work in one of the biggest new used book stores in my area as a lad. Powell's was always seen as the paradise of book stores lol.

Agreed. I travel to Portland frequently for work and get to Powell's a few times each year. Last time I bought so much I had to get it shipped home!
