I Absolutely Love Bookstores

I also like bookstores that don't have coffee shops.

I treat books like the rarest artifacts found in the earliest human settlements. The idea of a hot beverage that can turn any book into paper towels in binding with the flick of a wrist just freaks me out.

Bookstores are the weapon supply stores of the mind. When I go into a bookstore I emerge armed and dangerous.

Sadly, one day, they really will be the rarest artifacts...I appreciate them as you do too.

@GlamGirl it's not the most profitable business. I think bookstores make most of their money from all of the extras.

Also a lot of the independent bookstores are family owned and when the owners get close to retirement, if they can't find anyone to leave the shop to then it just had to close.

It's sad but in fairness, I don't think books are going anywhere.

For me, the library will always be my source. Just reading the book is ownership enough.

I hope you are right. I like your last comment. Very true.@TheWolfEmperor

I am dangerous in book stores. I can spend an entire day there, along with spending my entire paycheck!
