I'm Honest and Friendly

Is this becoming a rare thing? Online it's difficult to know just what someone is really like. Although I'm polite, I'm wary and I will give only so much information about myself. Offline you can look into a stranger's eyes which can reveal so much about them. I don't like anyone who doesn't give eye contact for instance, when they speak to me because it's like they are trying to hide something. Shyness is something else and you can usually tell when someone is bashful, but it is harder to work someone out online as to whether or not they are genuine. If they are then a good friend is made, if not, they will show their true colours in time.

I would call your wariness, healthy. Although, it's probably safe to give information about yourself on SW because no one can physically find you, unless you tell them where you are. It IS difficult to know how truthful someone is with you or the context in which they're addressing you, if you're not actually, physically present with them. But after talking with someone for a while, I've been pretty much able to tell if they're being sincere with me, and what their intentions are. So, overall, I'm having a good experience here.
