I Hate Abusive Teachers

A special education teacher bit a 9-year-old student in Austin. I am not going to take the time to get you a photo of this particular one because truthfully I am sick of looking at them. What normal adult bites a child?

She submitted a resignation letter to Austin ISD on April 13th (makes sense she shouldn't have had time to resign) She is currently still under review by the Texas Education Agency educator investigations division. The Department of Family and Protective Services also investigated the incident their review concluded April 4th their findings there is “reason to believe” physical abuse occurred.

Another teacher that scarred emotionally perhaps physically another small child 😡

The teacher BIT the KID? In sped it's usually the other way around. In self defense years back, I had a hard time, as it was shortly after my non violent crisis intervention class, in which you do ONLY defensive maneuvers, NOTHING offensive. "Steph, try again, this is the violent class, was what I often heard!"

@Eeyore122: Yes she bit the child, terrible! I don't understand some adults. Lol I can imagine you in a class like that, sounds like it could have been fun, but tough for some.

It was required prior to one of our field placements. Oddly I had to use it while a volunteer at an art studio(serving kids with special needs.) I saw kid escalating but other teacher was unconcerned, and it was HER class. Doors were behind me, kid charged grabbed my hair. I paused for a second then immediately trapped his hands and pulled my head down and out, and zoomed across the room. Teacher I was with FROZE, so I'm trying to not yell, and get everyone out the dooor- (for whatever reason we went through the room where the kid was... don't ask.) Plus debrief. :P
