My darling girl has been gone for a full week,It feels so empty without her presence, I'm still reeling from the shock, she went downhill so fast,6 days from the time I noticed her behaviour/eating habbits changing, I was certain it was a dental issue and we'd take her to the vets to get fixed up, but what they told me was that she had a cancerous tumor under her tongue which was what was causing her eating and drinking difficulties. I was shattered when they told me there was simply nothing they could do. I had to put my baby girl down after a fast 7 years because of cancer. We spent 2 days with her while she was on some heavy duty meds, we said the most beautiful goodbyes, she knew, she really knew and although she continued to get weaker in those last days she loved us so fiercely, I'll remember those cuddles for the rest of my days.
I'm so sorry. They become part of our lives. Big hugs to you🤗🤗🤗 Our last cat died of cancer of the nose. There was nothing they could do and he was in so much pain we had to let him go. Sometimes I think I can see him in the house still.🤗
