You gave me pleasure, you gave me pain,
You gave me comfort and peace, sometimes you drove me a little insane,
The memories now cut deep within my floating mind, fully ingrained,
I can't see or hear your voice, not able to read your words,
Vanished within another place and time, rounded up amongst the herd,
You have taken flight like a spirited bird,
You are no longer near, no longer can I touch your heart or bring you tears,
It has come to past, all through the years, the realized fears, but I still love you and hold you dear,
Unable to grasp a moment from the past and make it last,
Never to see you again remove the masks as time moved so fast,
