I Am An Existential Nihilist

It may seem some what contradictory but since i starting believing in the philosophy of existential nihilism my life has seemed more meaningful than ever. Put simply I'm no longer waiting for my life to begin I'm making it begin instead. The ever looming threat of death and eventual inevitable meaninglessness makes life so much more special to me. I know i probably just have a weird way of looking at things but at least now i know what i want from life and am far more determined to get than ever.

On many levels it simply sets you free.
When you realize that all around you is an immense ocean of chaos, you just stop wasting time on things that are stupid and don't make you a better human being.

I totally know what you mean. Once you are free from beliefs how things should be, you just enjoy life the way it is. I feel more meaning in my life not being a theist.
