I Am Insecure Is it just me, or do glasses boost insecurity? I never feel good about myself...

I love wearing my glasses. I first got them about 15 months ago. I was happy because I always wanted to wear glasses.

I hope you either get contacts that don’t irritate your eyes or get a pair of glasses that you feel great about.

I wear them most of the time .. doesn't bother me.. I'm me... It's no biggie

It might be one of those "if you already feel insecure you'll find things to feel insecure about" things. Or the glasses themselves. I've had insecurities but these days feel good about how my glasses look on my face. Wouldn't mind not needing them for practicality's sake, but they're less hassle than contacts for me

I know I always felt a bit better when wearing my contacts, though I certainly know people who look very good with glasses on. I really think its about how you feel in them and how that plays to people around you.

But sometimes I feel like safer with them... like as if I'm hiding with them
