I Miss Someone Who Died

Well, today marks one year since my grandma died. We weren't very close in the few years before she passed, we actually had a good amount of issues, but that's kind of what makes it hard. We missed out on years of memories and time we could have spent together. It has been a whole year but I still don't think I've totally made peace with the way it all went down. On one I'm still so mad at her for taking away all that time we could have had together, but on the hand I've forgiven her and miss her like crazy. I don't know. Either way, it is what it is.

Loss is always difficult. I find it best to try remember your favorite memories together. Despite everything, she was your grandma and I don't doubt that she loved you very much. Just like I don't doubt that you loved her

My great-Aunt died when I was eleven years old. She was so funny, and I wrote to her every winter for years. I still cry sometimes today when I think of her.
