I Love the Beach, Sunsets, and Walking On the Beach

I love go down the beach. In the winter the sun sets over the sea. But now the sunset is well behind! There are shipwrecks from the 1800s on the beach. I am afraid to say my ancestors enticed the captains onto the beach by lighting fires on the church tower. And the vicar was ok with it. The captains thought it was the harbour. And many died. Including Napolean Bonaparte’s niece who is buried here. It isn’t just other countries who must say sorry for what their ancestors did. Can we all say sorry and move on?
