I Enjoy Watching Waves Crash Onto the Beach

I wake to them every morning, reassuring me that I survived another night.
Sometimes whispering to me as they creep up the beach, another time letting me know they are a powerful being. All that and the times in between, times when their attitude suits my mood, times when I just want to lay and absorb them.
They are my lifetime companions, my connection with the world of nature, outliving us all.
