I Do Not Wear a Watch

This is something that I used to do every day. When I was younger, you had to have a watch if you wanted to be cool. You were super cool if your watch had the date on it. Mine didn't have the date, but it had a button that lit up the numbers. The other kids loved that. That was the "big kid" equivalent to light-up shoes. I no longer wear a watch. I don't see many people wearing watches these days. I also don't see them wearing those smart watches, but I live in the southeast. We're a little behind on technology... and pretty much everything else.

I like those old school, clunky men's watches. I used to have a nice solar powered one but it got stolen. I stopped wearing watches after that.

The ones I like are too expensive.

I own one watch, and it's worth several thousand dollars. I've never worn it. I keep it tucked away.

@ClassySOB: They say that the best way to tell how rich a man truly is, is by his everyday watch.

@AwakeAndDreaming: I'm pretty poor financially, but I'm rich with happiness.
