Why does he get to get away with that
The fact that my rapist and abuser is going on with his life and acting as if he didn’t completely degrade me and dehumanize me for 3 years and left me completely traumatized.

I am so sorry this happened to you.
People close to me have been abused. Sadly, abusers often have absolutely no concept of the depth of the harm they have done. Many don't even believe that what they have done is abuse.
The good news is that I have seen victims make slow, painful recoveries as they eventually heal and regain a sense of empowerment in their lives. In some cases, the turnaround seems almost miraculous to me.
Please know that what happened to you does not define who you are. The only person who should feel shame is the rapist.
