I Love Meaningful Conversations

Having a meaningful conversation is harder than you think. When youre talking to someone or a group of people, how can we get them to read between lines and talk about things that have a deeper meaning rather than superficial talk? Supposing you wanted to get them to talk to u like they wanted ur opinion, not just talk about things that have no relevance, like jokes about someone else? I haven't had a meaningful conversation with anyone for a longish time.

I long for this as well and hate small talk. People seem to be unwilling to go beyond surface level. I've posted about it

@iamnikki Is there really any,more than the surface level? Deep thinking often is nothing more than fallacy that we create to pretend we know something or pretend to care.

@acpguy i don't pretend to care. I genuinely do care about people. I also don't pretend to know things. I'm not out to make people feel intellectually inferior by any means.
