has any other women had a threatened miscarriage?

er drs can be such idiots sometimes. i went to my dr today and its not what tthe er told me.

It's very common.
No.
Everyone can be an idiot. It's better to have two medical opinions to confirm any diagnosis.

ER doctors are focused on the management of the worst emergencies. Management and stabilization. They consider the most serious possibilities first.

In the US they have it worse than most places bécause they are under lot of pressure since most people refuse to see a physician and wait until their condition escalates bécause they can't afford the expenses. They work longer hours than other specialties.

@Miram yeah i went as soon as i noticed the bleeding under instructions by my midwife was at the time at a delivery. today the bleeding got worse and this time my midwife said go straight to the dr. sunday the hospital said he thought it was from intercourse an told us to be more careful

@Miram thats what my midwife said. our church has a plan set up for anybody like this be it pregnancy related or sickness. a group of ladies will be responsible for bringing us meals and helping me with our toddler. midwife didn't put me on bedrest but she wants me to stay off my feet as much as i can.

I had a miscarriage before I had my son. But I was early on in my pregnancy (about 7 weeks). A got pregnant again (with my son) almost straight after that and during my pregnancy I bled from time to time (so much so I thought I thought there were problems. But everytime it happened, the doctor checked my cervix and it was fine. But obviously there can be many causes of miscarriages. Best is to find yourself a doctor (gynaecologist) you trust that can do sonars and keep you updated. All the best.

@Lochlee yeah my cervix is fine. dr and midwife don't think ill act have one esp this late in my pregnancy I'm 18 weeks but they want me to be careful
I've had two. Both diagnosed by my Dr or midwife. And thankfully both never got beyond threatened. The pregnancies were uneventful otherwise and went full term.
Hugs and best wishes.
