Do you believe it's possible to die from a broken heart

[c=#4C0073]I've heard of older married couples dying very close together. People always say that the second died of a broken heart. Do you think it actually possible to die of a broken heart?[/c]

Yes, it can be possible to die from heartbreak/ache. It can become an issue when it goes on for a long time and then the person becomes sick from it. Then they'll die as it gets up to the highest point possible.

Yes, it's happened many times, even in modern times. My grandfather and grandmother died in the same week last year. My grandmother called my mother and actually told her she was going to follow her husband after she said goodbyes. So the old definitely have the power to leave this life in certain circumstances. But also the young. Iseult finding Tristan dead and holding his head in her lap, knelt facing the East (as we Catholics have always done) and after praying she gave up her soul.
Also, Walt Whitman told a story of when he met a marine who told him about an Indian warrior who was forced to leave Florida and his way of life. The Indian learning this, grabbed his axe with both hands and pacing up and down the room with a strained face, he sat or laid down still clutching the axe and literally died that instant of a broken heart. There are many more stories I heard of this too.

True story.. my uncle was 39 and had MS. His wife put him in a nursing home and he found out she was cheating on him. He died very soon after. We were told it was from grieving. 😕 Still hate that bitch...just saying.

@PreciousIllusions: [c=#800055]i hope she gets aids and dies slow n painfully. I hate Bitches like that. I bet she's living good off his life insurance too😡[/c]

@VioletRayne: We could be friends! I like the way you think! 😂 She totally is. Sold their family home and bought a huge farm with the same man she was cheating with. She tried to take my nephew's inheritance too but we had the court appoint a Guardian ad Litem to protect his money and keep her from getting it.

Yes it's called Broken Heart Syndrome

Sure: grief is a shock, literally and physically. Enough of a shock on a weak heart will stop the heart fairly often, and old peoples hearts are often weak.

@firefall: [c=#4C0073]i wonder how often this happens to younger people? *runs off to do research*[/c]

@VioletRayne: I've had heartache before. But of course I've never gotten really sick from it. Once it hits you you're a crying mess in no time, like right on the exact spot.

@VioletRayne: Well I know of two incidences of near-death in 30-somethings suddenly bereft, among my extended family. Neither actually died, but both suffered severe heart attacks, & were lucky* to survive.

*or possibly not lucky I suppose

Yes. I think when you lose the will to live you kinda put yourself in a position to die. I think old people can do this like flipping a switch.

Yes it's absolutely possible!!! Even if it's indirectly, I'm sure that broken heart can cause other health problems that could lead one to death.

Yes, it hurts so deeply that one can die. It can also cause depression that could cause some to kill themselves.
SW-User
no. but it is very stressful. there's not a good way to distinguish between the two, I think.

Sure and when they are older they are more fragile. I've heard of this many times.
Of course it is , broken heart =depression and maybe suicide ?? Lots of cases

Science and human kind's experience proof this.

Not only is it possible, it happens all the time. Medicine and distraction can keep it at bay for only so long. The heart knows it's built for social engagement and soul connection. Without it, it has a hard time continuing. There is no substitute or replacement for love connection.
No ,look how many cunts would did on here everyday if that was true

@Nunlover: 😂😑
Yes, it would seem so, in many cases.
