I haven't had a stable job in 5 years, I get a job then quit.

I suffer from severe depression and psychosis. And I feel like shit not having money. I want to get a part time job now and slowly built my stamina for the work environment, I'm also applying for SSI. Will getting a part time job hinder my SSI application?
