Health and Wealth: American Business People: Please do not travel to Canada.

馃槼馃槼馃槼 You will be apprehended the moment you arrive. It does not matter whether you are covid19 positive or negative, you will be "arrested", and taken to a government run "Covid Hotel", where you will be forced to stay for three days, AND you will not be able to get adequate meals, (hot dogs and pizza only, and it takes 6 hours for food to arrive), and you will not be able to get beverages or bottled water for the same amount of time.

The Canadian government will then CHARGE you, personally, $1000 for the three day incarceration, if you are lucky. Some of the Covid Hotels are $2000 for a three day stay.

A diabetic man was apprehended coming off the plane in Toronto, and was not given food or water for 24 hours. He finally left his room, and went downstairs in search of food, and found a crowd of other residents down there, screaming for food, which they were not able to get.

Canadian citizens are NOT ALLOWED to call Covid Hotels jail. NOT ALLOWED.

Who the hell wants to go to Canada anyways? Plenty of socialist whiners down in the states already. No need to go looking for them.

@carpediem A great man once said, "Why should we leave America to visit America Junior?" LOL

@carpediem I pity the people who are forced to go there by their own corporations, on business.

This is true. They don't hide it, it's on their Covid response website along with the words
This is not the time to travel
If people still want to travel, they'll have to follow the regulations of the country they are visiting.

@Longpatrol High for most people. Here, the average motel room costs $120.00 a night.
But still much better than $333.00 per night.
Longpatrol31-35, M
well like I said the hotels are generally good. Like the Fairmont Singapore which is part of a chain of business hotels. @4meAndyou

@Stereoguy They would reimburse you on your expense account, one hopes...but how to pay if you were not planning on the additional expense?
