What was something small you went to the doctor for that turned out to be very significant?

A basic pap smear. And I had all kinds of issues and cancerous cells and had to have surgery.

A lump in my breast that my doctor wasn’t sure was actually a lump lump because my boobs are naturally quite lumpy
@SW-User So, just a benign cyst?
SW-User
Yeah all cut out. Sadly they wouldn’t take my breasts at the same time @CereBellum

Tiredness. Turned out to be Cancer.
Mikedewars · 70-79, M
@CereBellum colon cancer. The tiredness was from anemia caused by the cancer.
@Mikedewars But they got it in time, correct? Scary stuff.

@CereBellum yes. I am fine now. Cancer free for 2 years now.

In early March 2019, I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, and I was eventually diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma, a very rare form of cancer (fewer than 500 cases annually in North America). Send me a PM for details if interested.
Wound from small accident. I went a week later after the incident. The nurse said there is nothing to be done about it. Just go and rest at home. 😂

Ended up being cancer.
Thank God it was all taken care of with an operation.
