@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic Unfortunately Americans still don’t appreciate the scale and penetration of Covid and the intensity with which it spreads, and thanks to so much mixed messaging they are unlikely to.

@justanothername the state that I live in, is being hit pretty bad, but it's not the worst. It seems like EVERYTHING can be written off as an affront to civil liberties here. We just lost my aunt in April. She couldn't be transferred to the hospital she needed to be because of the Covid pandemic. 2 weeks ago my cousin lost his father in law from Covid. Nothing changes here though.

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic Self isolate. It’s the only way to stay Covid free. It totally sucks. It’s harsh and brutal but it’s proven.

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic Covid is probably going to top 250,000 new infections per day before the vaccine comes out.

@justanothername I only leave the house of I have to. My daughter is old enough to home school, so we are able to avoid sending her to school too.

@justanothername I'm so tired of my family saying, "God will protect me" or "if it's my time to go and that's how God takes me" I just might lose my temper 🙄

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic I’m from Covid free New Zealand. We had 5 weeks of lockdown early on and got out Covid infections down to 0. We have a Covid task force monitoring our borders.
