Is smoking weed very bad?

My friends and I smoked weed a couple of times and it just got me thinking what am I doing with my body.
Is it that bad? Or is it not that bad?

for your age it may have some negative effects on your brain, but there are many conditions that are benefited by the use of marijuana which is why it's still illegal.

Yes, but it has to be the correct strains and that isn't to get high but for painkilling and anti inflammatory properties.
