A few fingernails have changed color (grayish) and some weird vertical grooves have developed. Along with that the skin around my nails is tearing, so

I'm under the impression that I have a vitamin deficiency of some kind. What kinds of vitamin deficiencies are related to fingers/fingernails?

Grey nails can be caused by edema, arthritis problems, malnutrition, post-operative effects, glaucoma, lung problems, emphysema, cardio-pulmonary disease. Vertical ridges may be associated with kidney disorders, aging, anemia, or the tendency to develop arthritis.
