There is a device in a corner. It lets me onto something referred to as "internet". I think it's called a modem, heh.. nifty thing, archaic.

What's intriguing me at the moment though, is even when I power the thing down, and to the best of my understanding, switch off all my devices... I'm still connected to something, to.. a web??
