Can a chest xray....

Diagnose breast cancer?
Andy72 · M
The answer is unless it’s very advanced with secondary changes no.
The x ray used for breast screening is called a mammogram. This is not a chest x ray.
Mammograms are les useful in pre menopausal ladies as there is a high rate of inaccurate diagnoses.
The gold standard there would be an ultra sound scan, not CT as Mentioned above.
They would usually do a needle biopsy at the same time if they found something.
The bottom line is that if you have a lump and are worried, get it checked.

No. But it can find abnormalities that can lead to the tests tgat do.

Not too sure, if I see flesh in my c ray it’s not often detailed enough to see the variances between normal and abnormal. It’s just not clear enough. Go to a specialist I advise. If you have a lump or whatever, it’ll cost you less to get it diagnosed early than later.

And, god I hope you don’t have it.

it can certainly aid the process, however I don't know if it can confirm
This is a serious matter and a CT scan is the correct application for Cancer diagnose.
