Finally lost some weight

I've been trying to eat better and drink less. The drinking last week wasnt great as I drank 4 days out of 7 but somehow still managed to lose 2lbs. That has given me the motivation to do even better next week. I'm on schedule to only drink 2 days out of 7 so as long as I maintain my eating then I should see further results next week. Never had too many issues with exercise but plan to step that up to.

I usually moan on here so thought I would be a bit positive for a change.

I've been dropping weight like crazy, haven't weighed this little in a decade. Barely feel like I'm exercising, just not eating out at restaurants anymore, amazing what a difference it makes

The other thing that probably made it seem easier was I didn't actually set out to lose weight/check the scales everyday. I just wanted a routine where I figured out how to make convenient meals for myself and get in some light exercise everyday. The extent of the weight loss was pretty surprising tbh lol

@plungesponge glad that works for you. Yeah sometimes you can over think things. I weigh once a week (every Wednesday) I dont track my food or exercise just know in general my food and exercise are decent. Can't wait for the gyms to re-open here I do miss lifting weights.

Well good luck with that. I hope it keeps going well. Taking one step at a time is a good thing.

@Wraithorn thank you.I'm not in terrible shape by any means but it is the heaviest I've been in over 12 years so I wanted to make adjustments mainly in the drinking. I'd like to lose a stone or stone and a half overall so 2lbs is a decent start l

@Theresia thank you. Wednesday is cheat night and I normally have a few beers but I'm giving the beers a miss today and just having some pizza instead.
