Is it normal to have aching ankles once you walk on blisters?

I've had this on my 4-days trip to London. I felt like once I walked on blistered and tried to avoid the pain, I didn't walk properly which caused my back legs to hurt, then my whole body. After 4 days I was a wreck of a tourist.
