If you are run over by a truck you are a Covid19 death

Colorado just admitted that regardless of what caused your death if an autopsy revealed you had the virus in you, you were added to the stats as a Covid19 death.

This is true for all states and likely was done to make the pandemic to look worse than it is and be in line for more federal funds.

Overreporting has been estimated at 57 % and insurance companies are paying more for Covid deaths than for anything else , thereby tempting corrupt administrators to falsely attribute all deaths possible to covid...presumably for political reasons

@QuixoticSoul actually 29k in NY but nice try. Include NJ and Conn which are commutes from NYC that is another 15K not to mention those that escaped to other states especially FL before the Gov stopped them and you have about half of US deaths. Regardless if it’s half or 1/3 Cuomo screwed up big time sending infected people to nursing homes. Only thing he did right was praise Trump and the amazing job the task force did.

I've wondered just how accurate some of the numbers have been. Not to say this virus isn't bad or doesn't kill, but just wonder if there are other motives in reporting.

@Jlhzfromep 20% for Medicare patients, so still likely below cost of the actual care. Does that mean there is widespread fraud from American hospitals? Probably not, especially as testing is generally done by outside entities.
