Hang in there. Back in mid March, I had some flu-like symptoms. Tired, cough, sore throat, mild fever. I stayed in bed and it lasted about 2 days, then felt fine. A number of my co-workers experienced similar within that same time frame. The timing was consistent with the outbreak on the west coast.

@4meAndyou Oh my goodness. That sounds frightening, but maybe had a silver lining?

@BizSuitStacy It really did. I went to two different doctors and asked about it, and they were going to send me to an ENT...and now the issue is just gone. No more vertigo.

@4meAndyou that is great!

Take your temp first. I take mine each day.
You can't. You can only guess based on the long list of symptoms

@Barrelracer1 It is, however, one way that medical personnel can try to guess whether it's covid19 or the flu without having a test kit available.

@Barrelracer1 We have a wide lack of availability of test kits in the USA. Naturally, wouldn't it be great if we all could have a test!
But medical personnel don't want their patients to come in to their offices if they are sick these days. Many people can have a visit with their doctor on the telephone or via medical portals, and the blue toes are one very obvious indicator, if combined with other symptoms, that covid19 is possible.
We've all heard horror stories of people being sent home from the ER with severe breathing problems, and I think that would NOT happen if there was no available test if we had MORE obvious symptoms we could look for.

Mine are blue whenever it's cold. If I get a lung infection I turn blue all over.
