Is anyone still curious about WHY northern Italy was hit so hard with the virus?

We now know that clothing manufacturers in northern Italy employ 30,000 Chinese workers. Clothing made inside Italy is worth more, even if it is still made by Chinese people.

Of the 30,000 Chinese workers employed in Northern Italy, a large percentage of them were from Wuhan Province. They ALL returned to China to be with their families during the Harvest Moon Festival. THEN they were allowed to fly back to Italy, to resume their jobs...after they were infected.

Now...isn't it noble of the Chinese government to send medical aid to Northern Italy? To help the...er...Italians? Hmmm?

Fear of being called "racist" prevented measures that would have contained things. It's all fun and games throwing around the word "racist" when things don't go your way, but things have serious consequences. Take responsibility libs!

Apparently when they were told to stop going to work, they started congregating in bars :( In the UK when we were told to stop going to work, our lot started congregating in pubs :(

@4meAndyou Also, a very informative source, khenpal1, tells me it was actually 100,000 Chinese workers, and they were being treated so badly by the Italians that the Italian government started something called, "Hug a Chinese" to try to diffuse this.

@4meAndyou I lived in Italy, it's not just the Chinese, they do NOT like foreigners.

@msros True. Very sad...but very true.
