Are you worried about the spread of coronavirus?

The new coronavirus started in Wuhan, China and has spread to Beijing and southern China's Guangdong Province, as well as to Thailand, South Korea, Japan, the U.S., Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam.

I am since I'm so susceptible to things anyhow. We went from 1 case to 22 in one day here(US), which I believe is way more now. 5 cases in this state. This is scary stuff. Thank God I'm happy being an introvert!

@Gusman As usual, too little too late. I do hope they keep any kids recently returned away from school for a quarantine period. I plan to avoid planes and trains for a while.

Not really as I think the chances I'd get it are pretty low. I'm concerned about these diseases that spread so quickly, though. Also I have a friend who's in Taiwan right now so I'm a little concerned about her.

My wife is. Me, I know that this - like all "mysterious and sprang out of nowhere" viruses, was created in a lab and released on the populace as a "test". Then it mutates and gets away from them.

If we were smart, we'd stop allowing ANYONE from China in and put a 90 hold on all goods from China allowed into the US.

And that would absolutely kick the stilts out from under China's economy.

@xixgun Yeah let's ban them. China has been inventing things which are really absurd. I even read that a capsule for medication was mixed with fetus. Ugh.

Since my lungs are literal crap an outbreak would probably make me wear gas masks like of world war 2. I hear you can catch it various ways even from public loos.

I'm not worried; I have to assume, this is a virus that has been in the wild for a long time. How the human immune system responds, we don't know and that is where the real fear lays for now.
