Did you know you could cure high blood pressure just by losing weight?

I had high blood pressure. Then I lost 35 pounds. Now I don't need my blood pressure medication any longer.

Congratulations ... simply losing weight often does wonders for your blood pressure and other ailments !!!
@NCCindy and if it doesn't work they will need one less pallbearer at the funeral saving money
Not necessarily. Weight is one factor but hypertension can be caused by a number of things.
@TheFlippantSide Well, in my case it was weight.
@flipper1966 I'm glad to hear that your BP is managed. I've seen the unfortunate outcome of uncontrolled BP too many times to count.

The right diet for your body can cure or prevent a host of ailments. Unfortunately, doctors get very little training in nutrition, and only know how to treat with chemicals. The other issue is that if they did counsel you only on nutrition, there would be a greatly reduced or no profit stream for him/her or the insurance companies or the government. Obviously, that won't fly.

Walking helps too because your body creates more capillaries and that takes the pressure down to have more for the blood to flow through.

Do you understand why that helps?

Yes, that really helps.
One can reverse a lot of ailments by reaching and maintaining a healthy weight. I’m hoping to reverse my diabetes by getting as fit as possible and have been working towards that.

Congratulations, my friend. 🥇
