Do you turn towards people to help you when feeling stressed, or do you retreat, withdraw, or hide from them? Does it work for you?

I retreat from everyone. Not sure how well it works but I can't stand being around people when I'm stressed. They're usually the cause of it. Lol. I do some deep breathing exercises & meditation. It helps calm me down.

I find solace in Stoicism, the world has enough people bitching and moaning.
No one has ever really tried to help me my entire life why expect any help now?
I shut people out. It works better than letting them in usually.

I retreat, because I'm tired of putting my burdens onto other people's shoulders. Doesn't help, but at least I know I'm not making others worse.

People tend to stress me, so a strategic retreat is necessary in those moments...
