Favourite workout exercise?

What is your favourite thing to do in the gym apart from texting 馃馃憖馃槀

Mine is a deadlift I don't go very heavy, my max is 110kg/242lbs. I know not much but I'm not that big anyway so I'm happy enough with it. I want to build to 150kg.

My favourite is clean and press

Jus love how the technique works every muscle group along 1 rep

And the bounce when you have it at shoulder height and dip into it before pressing up

@SW-User cheers dude. I do want to lose a bit of weight, however, if I plan to hit 150kg Deadlift then I would imagine my weight will increase as I build muscle 馃

@SW-User all I'd say is make sure you put a bit of work in on the treadmill as well

Compounds are good for bulking and stacking muscle but its good to be mobile with it as well

My friends used to say jogging would make them lose weight but I think it burns bodyfat and strengthens the core not to mention the good it does for fitness and breathing

Which makes the mirror look better and the lifts much stronger

@SW-User I tend to do sprints on the treadmill every session and then 20 mins on other equipment like rower and power mill etc

You can lift 242 lbs?! That鈥檚 amazing. I鈥檓 like 95 lbs.
Hmm push ups always make me feel strong. I like treadmills. I lift hand weights that I own when I feel like it. I should probably work out more haha.

@SW-User sounds good! Switching between strength training and cardio is key. I may not work out that much, but I learned how to work out in a gym class in high school. It was the most helpful gym class I took.

@ShaythePanTransMan yeah I mixed it up. I've tried to make sure I do 30 mins cardio each day I threw in a spin class this week as well.

Cardio on the elliptical trainer or triceps pushdowns.
Either parallel bar dips or bench press.
