About people leaking negative information about you. You would catch her in her casual conversation with you baiting you and when you ask her she tells a bold face lie

Sorry but I'm finding your question confusing. Who would she be speaking to about you? And, how would you know that she spoke with someone else? Are you saying she made a slip and let you know she spoke about you with other people?
