Should i go to a hospital?

Hello. I have been released from a mental hospital 2 or so weeks ago where i was given rivotril (clonazepam) for a month. I was given one and a half of 2mg pills.
They tapered me off in less than a week and today i am suffering from rather horrific withdrawals. Today i can no longer eat or sleep and i have feverish shakes throughout the day. At one point i hyperventilated so hard without noticing that my entire body went numb and i almost fainted.

I looked on the internet a little bit and saw some rather discouraging comments on this drug and how some have become hooked for life from smaller doses than mine and one guy nearly dying from not sleeping for 11 days.
I am very sensitive about my sleeping so when i read this i almost barfed from just the idea that i may go through this.

My question is, what should i do? Should i go back to the hospital and ask them to taper me off slower? Or can i survive this on my own?

I would really appreciate advice from those who took this drug or possibly from a medical professional. Thank you.

You have to call your primary care doctor. If you can't do so where you are, going to the emergency will be wise.

Cut on alcohol and any other addictive crap. It interacts with klonopin and increases the risk of dependency. I mean even if you're off the meds for a week, the interaction can still occur because the life of the drug can take up to that.

Don't think about having it again or acquiring it illegally. It's not going to help at all. In fact you should've been under supervision during gradual decrease of the medication, not cut off at once. And if you take it now again, your withdrawal isn't going to disappear in a day. It will only make the addiction worse.

Ask your doctor for referral to a therapist. It's far better starting out with natural treatment ways when it comes to mental illnesses.

@Oleander Any friends that can be there for you? Any relative you can visit and stay over until this passes?

Meanwhile, you have to create distractions, movies, good food, a pet that grounds you when you pat on the head, good conversations, walks in nature, anything is better than sitting and waiting it out. Unless you're dizzy.

@Miram I am VERY dizzy. One of the ultimate sources for my anxiety.

@Oleander Same, for a different medical condition.

I'd ignore my psychiatrist opinion and refer to someone else's medical advice. Sometimes you just have to see two and three other professionals. You also shouldn't be alone.

@IstillmissEP Kind of the sentiment of my hubby. He said that the place is medieval, heh.

Call a psychiatrist for an appointment.

An stop googling things.

If you google headaches you’ll end up thinking you have a brain tumor.
tapering down very slowly.. you can't just go off that shit.. it's nasty. took me ages to get off it.
Go back to the hospital and figure out a plan with your doctirs to get you off without that much suffering..
I can help you. I took clonazepam for years. Message me.
