@bijouxbroussard I've only ever done the candies, as far as edibles go. I prefer the vape pen to go to sleep. It is so much faster for me.

@TwiddlerofThumbs Yeah, the vape pens are definitely way quicker. I've taken to using them, lately. Gotta be choosy about brands though, I've found. Pollutants in some and others are a little [i]too much.[/i]

@UndeadPrivateer Pollutants are a concern but I'm not sure how to recognize them. It isn't anything I've read up on.

@TwiddlerofThumbs Look for cartridges that have verifiable tests posted on the packaging, ask for testing information from the dispensary and/or manufacturer if you must. I've found you usually can get the test results with some pursuing it but some companies are more forthcoming than others. This also will tell you if they're lying about concentrations and all that.

@UndeadPrivateer Yeah! Some of them are horrible with adulterants. You notice it quick too. Lot of counterfeits of legit brands too. Some are even faking the lab tested badges.
I am super careful who I get them from.

@TwiddlerofThumbs It's something I really think should be legally ironed out in the near future, requiring the testing to be publicly posted and easily verified, but for now we're left to confirm ourselves. I just tend to favor companies which make their testing as transparent as possible as a result. Happy to help. 😁

@MethDozer Yeah, you do want to check batch numbers and dates and confirm cartridge and packaging designs and everything in the cases of the big name cartridges. There's a lot of counterfeits out there.

@UndeadPrivateer I honestly wonder how much of it is from legit manufacturers and growers using the black market to dump their bad oil that comes back with bad test results.
Might just be my trust no one gene activating.

@MethDozer I mean, it's possible for some of them for sure. Like some of the counterfeits do seem particularly professional. But most of them have little flaws where they obviously were done with a shoddy setup and/or were done as quickly and cheaply as physically possible. My experience is a lot of them are also in areas where the legit carts aren't legally available, so the supply on legit carts to compare it to is limited in the first place.

Then out here you have brands that don't seem to really exist, They gave instagram only pages, little data on themselves, and no-one seems to be able to track down who owns them. Yet they are very professionally packed. Its like they aren't counterfeit, but they don't seem to be legit either. A made up brand for lack of a good word. I wonder this about these Mario karts and Exotic carts. They are trash oil and have for awhile wondered if they are a made up brand for what I mentioned. Using east coast black markets to dump bad product.

@MethDozer I think more likely it's just local manufacturers using standardized packaging and flavoring for quick and dirty extractions. But I don't think it's impossible that they're a place that companies are dumping their bunk oil, it's a definite possibility.

@UndeadPrivateer Locals are definitely buying bootleg package on Amazon and making their own. I can personally verify that.

@MethDozer The one I had recently that was really a great cartridge was Korova. Used to be an edible company, recently went into carts and they're really really good. Super clean, really tasty, good strength. 👌

@UndeadPrivateer A friend in Concord uses Hip Joynt. Have you heard of them ? They deliver.

@bijouxbroussard I can't say I have, I've been using whatever place has the best deals at the moment to be entirely honest. I tend to browse around weedmaps. Ruby's Green Garden was the last one I used.

@UndeadPrivateer My favorites are the ones that have no flavors really. Just kind of taste like hay.
