I need to tighten up my belly

I'm not really heavy. About 65-ish KG, 1m73, male, so definitely not overweight or anything.
However I do have a belly, that I really don't like and I've been trying to "flatten" it out but I'm not sure what to do.
I'm pretty active (for as far as I can) but I can't seem to get rid of it.
Slightly afraid that by working on my abs, I might make it worse.

Anyone any tips?

@pagandad I'm really afraid that pushing my abs further will just push my belly forward even more.
I do have a decent set of abs, they're still there, you can feel em, they're just the chubby belly :(

This person has the exact answer - work & more work, work the different areas - and when you do more work and keep it up, it’s not going to any negative effect like pushing things out as one person was affraid might happen, it tightens and sculpts the muscles. A lot of people under estimate the work levels required to have either a six pack or at least a flat, toned stomach - it does not come easy and requires discipline and dedication. @pagandad

Cut back on carbs, they tend to give you a poochy belly.

@curiosi I don't really eat a lot but then again, I don't really check what I eat either.
I just make dinner from what my mom buys (I make dinner for her, siblings and I guess myself).
Guess I'll have to start checking what has a lot of carbs and what doesn't.

I mean, it's mostly potatoes with some meat and veggies.
Can you tell I've never really paid attention to my food? XD

Potatoes = carbs, meat = fat content. 😬 @PurpleStar

Agree with this answer, start modestly and build it up, and do it 4-5 times a week min - get in to a habit and it’ll quickly become a lot easier, try to have fun with it too so it’s not a chore 😎👍@whynottalk

I have literally the exact same problem. It’s been really upsetting me, and like you, I’m pretty active. I even eat well now and that hasn’t changed it.
And none of the answers here have helped me....

@ShaythePanTransMan The biggest "problem" is when I bent over ... it looks like I have a bearbelly even tho when straight up, it's pretty flat. Knowing that, I've just been trying to accept it. Luckily, unlike the balding thing, I'm the only skinny person in the family XD
I have no clue why I fall out of it all, since even my biological father is fat.

Personally trailer maybe. They'd know exactly what to do.

@SeductiveCactus Personal trainer*. And well, that thought has crossed my mind but I never have the money or the time to go to a gym, follow an entire schedule and what not.
I literally cram shit in between what should be breaks during the day >.>

@PurpleStar thanks haha.
And yeah it would be tough. Maybe just get a consultation. I think they do that haha.

@SeductiveCactus At this point I feel like just turning back time about 10 years would solve A LOT of my problems XD

Try sit ups with someone holding your ankles down that should strengthen and trim the tummy or take up yoga.
