Should I call out or go to work?

This weekend I got hit with a horrible cold (called out of work on Sunday), and it's almost gone to the point where going back to work is fine now. However, I've been hit with my period today and the cramps are really bad (can't do anything except curl up in a ball in bed). I'm debating whether to call out of work again. I'm afraid they'll be asking for a note when I won't have a doctor's note because I don't need to go to the doctor for menstruation cramps. I work in retail by the way.
