It's 1:38 a.m. I woke up from a nightmare so I turned the tv on about an hour ago. I don't ever watch tv at this hour and I am stunned and disturbed

EVERY commercial is pushing a prescription drug...EVERY ONE OF THEM!!! I thought it was bad during the day but this is terrifying. They even have kids pushing them...am I the only one who sees this?

I’ve thought that commercials for Rx drugs were a terrible idea ever since that got started. Whatever happened to describing your symptoms to a doctor and letting the doctor decide?

On top of that, I loathe the fact that every. single. thing. is an advertisement now. No matter where you go or what you do, you can’t get away from someone urging you to buy something. I resent being constantly “sold to.” If I want something, I’m quite capable of doing some research on my own and seeking out the information I need and making my own decision.
