Anyone here who can identify?

I am just coming off of an all night panic attack. It's been awful.

2 nights ago, I had a panic attack that went on all night. I finally got an appointment with a doctor. At one point, I needed a restroom so was directed by a nurse into a restroom I became trapped in; it was a staff restroom with a keypad code to get out (?!). I pounded and kicked before someone heard and got me out. This didn't help my panic attack one bit.

Then they gave me an appointment with a psychologist for 10 days from now. Last night's attack makes it clear I cannot wait. So I asked them to call me if they have any cancellations today.

It feels as if I am going crazy, headed into madness. Very scary.

I've had these before and often stop them with hawthorn extract or passion flower extract. Anyone know other tips or home remedies? Or any ideas about stopping panic attacks?

My neighbor has them, I suggested magnesium & B-complex stress vitamins. She didn’t take my advise but called a friend who works for a doctor. That friend suggested the same thing as I did and she took it and it worked. We have a much harder time holding those two nutrients in our bodies the older we get. Most are deficient to a degree by the time they become seniors.

@cherokeepatti Thanks. I do lack B vitamins in my diet, might try taking brewers yeast pills. I just took some liquid magnesium + calcium.

@greenmountaingal I hope you get to feeling better. I know when I am low on B-vitamins, I get weepy for no good reason.

@cherokeepatti I am in the midst of what feels like an unending anxiety attack. I am terrified and feeling extremely lonely. I'm too upset to shop now, but maybe tomorrow.

Call on the name of Jesus

@coffeedimplez Amen. I have done that.
Call the hospital emergency room. Tell them your condition and ask for an ambulance.

@Mondayschild When you do that over a panic attack, they put you in a mental hospital. I am hoping to avoid that.
