I recommend you find a family law or elder law firm and have them look after your interests until you pass, and handle your estate after. They can probably do it for reasonable fees. Your state or its bar assoc might have programs to assist the elderly. Attys are required to perform a few hours of pro bono service per year to the public.

@MikeSp I have very little money. And I can manage my own affairs with occasional advice from my long time accountant. My problem isn't that I am too muddlebrained to run my own rather basic simple life, but that I am lonely and feeling as if no one around me can relate to me.

@greenmountaingal Based on the first sentence of your post, I recommend you have someone prepared ahead of time to act as your health proxy in case you are unable to make decisions for yourself. Maybe your accountant can do that role. Some people have no family, or friends they trust.
