Yes, due to a diving accident. It lasted for several months but finally went away. The ear is still weaker and more prone to temporary hearing loss and tinnitus than the other.

8 years ago I woke up one morning to the sound of my heart beating loudly in my right ear...it's never stopped. Pulsatile tinnitus

it depends, what is the cause of your tinnitus? usually, it's more prominent in a quiet environment

@SW-User Well at the time of this post I was panicking a little after two days of non-stop ringing in my left ear but it settled down. The relief was unimaginable. So I'm not actually suffering from Tinnitus myself but have learnt an substantial amount about it.

Yes, it’s still ongoing for that past couple of months.

Yes every day. I should have protected my hearing better when I was younger.

@JimboUk Well, I've never had it for two and a half consecutive days. No, I admire your spirit 😁

@SW-User Next time it happens, make an low, deep pitch sound (like zzzzz's) it helped me.
Also static from the radio is meant to help with the frequency in your eardrum. It buffer outs the sound. Hope that helps you 😉
