Typhus outbreak in Los Angeles due to filth, rats, and infected fleas on the rats. Your thoughts?

I heard on the news that there is also a typhus outbreak in San Francisco, but can find no corroborating articles online to support what I thought I heard.

@SW-User And let us not forget the biggest swamp of them all...😂

The ignorance of the left has brought back a disease that were the scourge of declining civilizations . 🤦🏻‍♀️

@TexChik Well, it certainly does appear that the policies of the local government have failed the health and welfare of the citizens.

In first world countries there’s absolutely no excuse for this.

@Les02 You would think so, wouldn't you?

@4meAndyou nope. Caused by mounds of trash that the city doesnt keep up with.

@Carla I read that the homeless are pooping in the streets. But seriously, someone has to do something about that city's government.

Typhus!
So “evocative”.
4meAndyou · F
@Vetrov Yes, isn't it. I haven't even heard of it outside of historical novels until now. There used to be outbreaks in the early 1800's along the Mississippi river at certain times of year, and people would have to relocate.

@energie Why aren't the people rising up in outrage? I would have the CDC on those stupid politicians asses so fast their heads would spin.
