Just wanting to know if there are any good informative books on nutrition and portion control?

Actually, and this is speaking from experience, if this is to lose weight, forget about portions, measurimg - all that crap - all it does is make you think about food more.

Yeah, nurtition is important, buy if you just try to keep your food as natural as possible - that's the best.
Butter, not margarine
Fresh or frozen veggies,
Less stuff out of packets.

And what you do is ; eat normal one day, next day is a fast day, where ypu only have fluids.

This is really good for the digestive system and metabolism.

I had a weight problem, amd this is what i gravitated to.
Plus i tendrils to snack when i'm hungry, amd i just forget about the having meals thing - but that's my preference.

My mother struggled for 40 years with her weight, and now this is what she does, and shes 69, and in the last year and a half, has lost 50 kg -and kept it off.
Internet would be better.

Plus, when it comes to portions, it's a very personalised thing dependant on many variables: energy exependiture, metabolism, gender, age and state of health.
