Are the floaty things in your eyeballs driving you insane?

I'm telling you, it's like an aquarium in there 馃槓锔忦煒戰煒愶笍馃檮
NimbusM
I've had them for years and only getting worse.
One gets used to them.
NimbusM
@SW-User OK, all you can do then is hope it doesn't get worse, they can settle at the bottom of the eyes.
SW-User
@Nimbus I'll try to keep my eyes as still as possible

See when it's dark and I look in a new direction real quick,sometimes I mistake them for an insect flying about! 馃槵馃檮馃槀

The doc told me they were normal,so it cant be that...
Byron8by7M
Mine have settled down. I haven't sought treatment, they just tell me to "watch" them.
SW-User
@Byron8by7 like you have a choice whether or not to watch them 馃槙
Byron8by7M
@SW-User That was my response. If they get worse, I am to tell the opthalmoolgy folks.
PfuzylogicM
I have had them before.
Have you checked your blood chemistry?
That affected me.
SW-User
@Pfuzylogic unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much they can do about it.
PfuzylogicM
@SW-User
As long as you don鈥檛 see flashes or lose peripheral vision you aren鈥檛 in a traumatic situation.
Tminus6453M
If i pay attention to them being there they can drive me insane
SW-User
@Tminus6453 Once I start noticing them, I can't stop 馃槶
Tminus6453M
@SW-User I get that way once in a while, its nerve wracking
SW-User
@SW-User yep...I have a black one that I thought was a bug...but nope just a floater.馃槕
See your opthamalogist.. yep bothers me from time to time.
SW-User
@JustLikeGreta As long as it doesn't involve firing lasers into my eyeballs
@SW-User Yikes, just the thought. lol 馃槻
redredredM
they tend to disappear as you get older
SW-User
@redredred That would be nice. They've been kind of stable like this since Grade 6, when I used to flick them around when I was bored in class.
SW-User
Oh no! I don't have floaties
SW-User
@SW-User what's it like?
SW-User
@SW-User it's niiiice.
I only get floaties if I'm inebriated
popmol22-25, M

SW-User
SW-User
@SW-User holy crap! I'm sorry you have that. Does it go away eventually?
SW-User
@SW-User I don't know, actually. Mine have been stable since I was a child. Mostly I just tune them out but sometimes they're really intrusive and distracting.
SW-User
