Anyone with tips for optimum function with allergies?

I am struggling right now. There is something in the air that is making me cough and my throat is getting sore. I feel like I can't breathe.

I can't open my windows! I am so desperate I turned on my disgustingly noisy air purifier. It's sort of like running a leaf blower in my living room.

I took cold medication because it contains a decongestant along with the antihistamine, and that was not sufficient. I took half an allergy tablet and all the medication hit me like a lead weighted sock and I was in bed at 5 pm sleeping it off. I am thinking (seriously) of fishing out my air filter masks.

Take a bath and add baking soda. Wet a wash cloth with cold water and put it over your eyes. Suck on Halls throat lozenges that are for general throat discomfort or Ricola honey and lemon. Swallow a spoonful of honey. Track the pollen count where you live. Keep windows shut and air in car on recirculate. Go to doctor for other medication or for an allergy shot.
I'm allergic to lots of things.

Yeah. Detox with bentonite clay. Super easy. Add a bit to water and drink it unless you have black mold or something in your house. But clay would still help you.

@4meAndyou thank you. I read it and have a feeling that increase they saw in the cells was actually it helping to destroy the cancer cells like they discovered it did with glioblastomas. But I need to dig more about that specific study.

Good luck with your mammogram.

Edit: and as the end of that article mentions, part of what it does is expand. So logically it makes sense to me that it was killing those cancer cells as well. But they didn't go long enough with studying it.

take one advil cold and sinus and allergy pill...i take allergy pills about 3times a day..but im a pretty big guy.

@homespun2 I was using what I had in the house. I bought a couple of generic boxes of cold and flu last year just in case I caught the flu.

Thera flu used to work really well for me. I'll have to get some of that.

Invest in some Himalayan pink salt lamps but make sure they are real or go sit in a salt cave. Take a spoonful of local honey everyday. OTC nose sprays work well or you can see a doctor
