Lost a woman i knew to cancer today

I went to high school with her. We weren't really close, but, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It just makes me question my own mortality.

I am really sorry to hear that. Cancer is not something I would wish on anyone.

Yes, when someone dies we do tend to question our own mortality.😔💔
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@Peaches I always have. It's hard not to.🙂

My wife is going through treatment right now. Cancer sucks, I’m sorry for your loss.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@Cantsayno there are definitely ups and downs when you lose the one you love. You are a special person and things will eventually look up for you.🤗🌹

@Indy74 that’s one thing I’m thankful for. I know at sometime I’ll be ok. Just don’t know when. Time will tell.

Cancer is a devastating disease.
Honor her memory by sharing extra smiles to strangers, one never knows what they may be going through...sorry for your loss.

@DayDreaming2 thank you, I'll do that!🤗
Scottdes · 51-55, M
I had a friend from school who passed away from cancer, and it was pretty hard on me and her family.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@Scottdes I know, it's very hard to deal.
Scottdes · 51-55, M
@Indy74 it is. I knew her since 1983
I’m sorry for your loss but what is there to question about your own mortality? We’ll all die one day, it’s a fact.
St0ut · 51-55, M
We are all mortal the difference is this you live life now.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@St0ut I'm in a great place mentally with that. She was my age and I just automatically questioned that.
St0ut · 51-55, M
@Indy74 I am glad. Just getting to know you.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@St0ut thank you.feel free to do so.🙂

So sorry for your loss. Your feelings and reflections are understandable. 🤗🤗🤗
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@JavaJoe that's when reality slapped me in the face. I had a breast cancer scare earlier this year, luckily it wasn't anything after tests.👍️🙂

I lost a school friend to cancer recently. We were best friends in grade 4, but lost touch after high school. It made me so sad to learn of his passing. He had a wife and two little girls. I thought back to the time we used to play, and how none of us knew at that time that he would be dead before 50.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
Cancer Kills. It’s a very invasive disease and sadly it still takes a lot of lives every day and year.

No age to die for anybody

Indy74 · 46-50, F

I’m so sorry. It’s very sobering when our contemporaries go. 😔
