Does anyone here take Buspar?

Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
I tried it once years ago....did not have a good experience. But everyones brain chemistry is different. It might make you feel good.

@purplepen yeah, universal healthcare has its pitfalls, but also Canada seems to be pretty progressive with medical treatments, so you should be able to get your levels checked. if you aren’t menopausal, likely only some progesterone cream will do the trick. here it’s not a controlled substance and can be found at health food stores. it comes with explicit directions, so maybe do a little reading and find out if that might be an option for you. Emarita makes a very good progesterone cream. i needed estrogen as well so i insisted on a level check and a prescription. by prescription it’s more concentrated so you don’t have to use as much cream. i hope you get it sorted, and best wishes to you!

@pentacorn Thx. I'm going to hold off on it for now but it's good to know.

@pentacorn Thank you!
It sounds a powerful drug, as coming off it suddenly can cause organ damage I read. I would be really wary of this.
@NightTimeWolf I don't find Buspar to be powerful at all!

No. Is it good?
SW-User
@purplepen Not sure.

If you get any bad reaction, be sure to report it because Drs are over prescribing all sorts of nasty things.
@SW-User wasn't too bad. Kept my migrains away, but that's all it was ever for. 15mg should be as much as you ever take, but I gave it up when I started driving.
@SW-User It has mild effects on me. Better than nothing, but not much.
